"Clifftop Scramble" is a follow-up title to the well received "Approaching Storm" artwork released in August last year.
At first glance, this contemporary take on a classical and traditional British coastal seascape scene includes what appears to be a relatively uninteresting, remote, graffiti covered cottage. sitting quietly beneath a WWII inspired Dog Fight, with British spitfires taking on the unenviable task of battling the "invaders" atop the cliffs and their modern weaponry.
The original artwork of this has been presented in a traditional style ornate frame, with its canvas being heavily overpainted with multiple layers of a clear texturing gel - to give the appearance of a old fashioned, traditional style oil painting - only increasing the effects of JJ's accomplished artwork.
