Making A Contract With Us:
When you place an order with us, you are making an offer to buy goods. We will send you an email to confirm that we have received your order. Once we have checked the price and availability of the goods, we will email you again to confirm the order and that a contract has been made between us. We will not take payment until we have accepted your order. In the unlikely event that the goods are no longer available, or that we have made a pricing mistake, we will advise you of this. You will not receive an email confirming acceptance of your order, and there will be no contract between us.
How To Place An Order:
You can place an order on-line by clicking the 'Add to Basket' button, then 'View Basket' and click on 'Checkout' to fill in your details then click 'Continue' to be given the option to checkout using our secure server. You will be able to pay via debit or credit card OR you can login to Paypal and pay that way instead. Other payment options are also given including AmazonPay and GooglePay.
You can also place an order via the telephone on 01759 307652 or by email at email@example.com or by writing to us at The Acorn Gallery, 5 Market Place. Pocklington, East Yorkshire, YO42 2AS. When placing your order please provide the name of the artist and the title of the image you wish to purchase.
All 'in-stock' goods will be dispatched within 4 working days. However, dispatch is often quicker than this. We can not guarantee exact delivery dates. All 'out of stock' orders will normally be dispatched within 7 -10 days. However, availability dictates this may take longer. If we can not source 'out of stock' goods, we will tell you immediately and a refund will be given where applicable.
Within the UK delivery charges are FREE for orders over £295 and £9.95 on orders below £100 and anything in between £100 & £295 will be charged at £14.95. Charges for deliveries outside the UK and for Highlands and Islands, will vary. If the goods are lost or damaged in transit, please let us know promptly. Customs & Import duties are not included. You are responsible for payment of any surcharges.
Cancellation & Returns:
You can cancel your contract at any time up to 14 working days after day of delivery. To do this, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or write to us at The Acorn Gallery, 5 Market Place, Pocklington, East Yorkshire, YO42 2AS.
You do not have to give any reason for cancellation. However, a brief explanation will help us to improve the service we offer to customers in the future.
If you cancel, you must return the goods to us at your own expense. You must ensure that the goods are packaged adequately to protect against damage.
If you fail to return the goods, we will collect them, and we will charge you the direct cost of collection. if you fail to take reasonable care of the goods before they are returned to us, and this results in damage or deterioration, we will charge you for the reduction in value.
This cancellation policy does not effect your legal rights - for example, if the goods are faulty or wrongly described.
If there is a problem with the goods, please contact us. We will deal with the matter in accordance with your legal rights.
Changes To These Terms:
These terms were last changed on 12th December 2018. Previous versions of our standard terms and conditions can be obtained by writing to us at The Acorn Gallery, 5 Market Place, Pocklington, East Yorkshire, YO42 2AS.
These terms apply to your order. We may change our terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply to future orders.
