Yulia Lisle

Artist: Yulia Lisle - Original Impasto Oil Paintings:-

Artist Yulia Lisle with Diane Wass owner of The Acorn Gallery, Pocklington

There is something rather special about a painting that makes you feel as though you could step straight into it. Yulia Lisle's original floral paintings have just that quality, inviting you into beautiful gardens filled with colour, movement and the gentle pleasures of nature.

From cascading wisteria and delicate magnolias to glorious sunflowers and colourful wildflower gardens, Yulia captures the moments we wish could last a little longer. The warmth of a summer afternoon, the first blossoms of spring or the peaceful beauty of a garden in full bloom. Her paintings allow us to enjoy those moments all year round.

Working predominantly in oils, Yulia uses palette knives and brushes to build up wonderful layers of colour and texture. Her distinctive impasto painting technique gives each flower a sense of depth and movement, with individual strokes of paint catching the light and bringing the composition to life. There is something new to notice each time you look, making her paintings a pleasure to live with.

What makes Yulia's work so appealing is the balance between energy and tranquillity. Her flowers seem to dance across the canvas, yet there is a lovely sense of calm running through each composition. Some paintings are wonderfully vibrant and full of sunshine, while others are softer and more reflective. Each has its own personality, allowing collectors to find something that feels just right for them.

An original painting by Yulia Lisle brings more than colour to a room. It brings the feeling of being surrounded by nature, even on the greyest of days. Whether displayed in a bright living space, a peaceful bedroom or a favourite corner of the home, her paintings offer a beautiful reminder of the seasons and the simple pleasures found in a garden.

At The Acorn Gallery, Pocklington, we are delighted to offer a collection of Yulia Lisle's original floral paintings. Each is individually created, with its own combination of colour, texture and character.
