Known for his unmistakable style, Andrei combines bold colours, intricate detail and flowing, geometric forms to create paintings full of romance, movement and personality. Born in Donetsk, Ukraine, Andrei showed exceptional artistic talent from an early age. He went on to study at the prestigious Repin Academy of Fine Arts in St Petersburg, graduating with a Master's degree in Fine Art in 1990. His classical training and fascination with the techniques of the Old Masters continue to influence his work today.

After moving to the United States in 1994, Andrei developed his distinctive contemporary style, blending traditional artistic techniques with vibrant colour, imaginative compositions and a remarkable sense of energy. His use of gold and silver leaf adds richness and depth to many of his original paintings.

Having worked with Andrei for more than fourteen years, we have enjoyed watching his work develop and sharing it with collectors through exhibitions at our gallery in East Yorkshire.
