With more than two decades of experience as a sculptor, Matt Buckley has established himself as one of Britain's most respected contemporary sculpture artists. His artistic journey began under the guidance of his stepfather, renowned sculptor Robert Harrop, where he developed the exceptional skills and attention to detail that have become the hallmark of his work.

Throughout his career, Matt has created licensed sculptures featuring much-loved characters including The Beano, The Dandy, Camberwick Green and Gerry Anderson's Thunderbirds. Alongside these iconic commissions, he has developed his own distinctive collections, creating expressive sculptures full of character, movement and personality.

Every sculpture begins life as an original piece hand sculpted in clay, allowing Matt complete creative freedom to capture the finest details and dynamic poses. Once the master sculpture is complete, a mould is carefully produced, from which each edition is individually hand cast using high-quality ceramic polystone.

This specialist material faithfully reproduces every texture, contour and intricate detail of the original sculpture. Each piece is then meticulously hand finished and painted by skilled artists, ensuring every sculpture has its own unique character while remaining true to Matt Buckley's original vision.
