These Cost?’ is a satirical piece based on the idea that a beautiful woman never has to pay for a drink. It came about because of a comment made in a bar one night when I was attempting to get the attention of the bartender and I got overlooked. The woman who was served ahead of me received her drink and the bartender told her the price. She looked at him strangely and looked over at me as if I was going to pay for it and asked “these cost?”. At that moment another man stepped in and paid for her drink. I was annoyed and impressed at the same time.”
