I've always loved creating beautiful things, although for most of my life making things was a hobby. I've made many different creations over the years. I'm a fine scale modeler, I draw and paint, but my first love has always been working with wood. 

I qualified as a carpenter after leaving school and spent years working on building sites and renovating buildings. But what I really wanted to do was make beautiful and useful things that people would love to own. 

A couple of years ago I took redundancy from a job I didn't enjoy and used the money to set up my cozy little workshop in the North East of England. I stocked my shop with lovely woods and tools both traditional and modern, to help me fashion my woods and resins into gifts, table wares, wall art and furniture. 

I haven't looked back, I'm in my workshop just about every day of the year. Making, learning and growing my portfolio of completed items and happy customers.
