Acor Johnny Depp is famous for many roles but Captain Jack Sparrow has to be one of his best known. In this brilliant rendition you can almost see his eyes twinkle and in person the effect is even better! 

SANDRA SAYS:

I do not use photoshop to create my pieces like some of a similar style do. I use a ruler and hi contrast to find the darkest darks and lightest lights. 

The idea came from a charity shop book published in 1980 before Photoshop existed and it showed making images with lines and dots to make up newspaper images .

Roy Lichtenstein had already done dots so I thought I’d try lines and the resulting fractured series is the work of five years perfecting my technique.
