Joseph Hayton was 'Highly Commended' at The 2016 National Stone Awards for his public sculpture of 'Pillars Past' at Pateley Bridge in North Yorkshire.
The award ceremony was held at the Grange Tower Bridge Hotel, London and was hosted by Jim Rosenthal and The Right Honourable Michael Portillo.
The judges noted that the faces and other details on 'Pillars Past' gave the piece real character and the faces are very engaging.
