I will be honest; I bloody love this image and the character as a whole. For me, this captures that moment when Superman with all of his power and accomplishments just stops to reflect. I love the contrast between being stood still in front of a cracking and damaged Earth yet surrounded by a fierce wind that blows his cape up and outwards.
What is he thinking about? What is he contemplating? That iconic ‘S’ on his suit dominates and from it radiates out these tiny details that I have used in previous pieces, but which?
