"Eternal Icons" fulfils a desire to expand my repertoire beyond figurative art into the intricate world of portraiture.
This second instalment to the collection sees me explore the presence of two of the most charismatic male icons in history; Elvis Presley and Mohammad Ali.
As alluded to above, beyond the legacy of the music, the skill and the accolades they received. For me, it’s their abundance of charisma that put this pair in a league of their own. It’s having that “special something” that cements them in time as, “Eternal Icons”.
Delicate and refined details rest at the focus of these pieces. While energetic and striking brush strokes, 24ct gold leaf embellishments and a raw, linen back drop, frame and ignite emotion in each piece.
Each Limited Edition Canvas is Hand Embellished by Richard using Acrylic and 24ct Gold Leaf and finished off with a varnish.
