This collection is something very different, I almost feel I have turned the clock back 20 years and returned to my fantasy art roots.
The new collection titled 'A Kiss From Midas' is inspired by Celtic mythology and legends of old, I feel the rich Gold Leaf has really added to the pieces and the storytelling of the paintings, with all the textures of the raised Gesso work under the gold work adding extra depth to the pieces.
I do hope people fall in love with them. I have enjoyed learning new techniques and I am really proud of this body of work.
