In Serenade, Tim Shorten once again immerses the viewer in the evocative world of late-night jazz, where music, atmosphere, and mystery intertwine. A lone cornet player stands illuminated in a haze of soft light, his solo rising into the smoky air as if shaping the very mood of the room. The surrounding space feels dreamlike—diffused, intimate, and suspended somewhere between reality and memory.
