'It has been many years since I painted ’Come Away, Come Away’ and I had been dreaming of making a new image for some time. I envisioned a more smoky, mysterious atmosphere for my new piece which was inspired by visits to London and walking the streets on grey days.
I then returned home and re-read the books, and so ‘Second Star on the right and straight on ‘til Morning’ was born'
