Bathed in the extraordinary colours of a glowing sunset, Quiet Moment by Danny Abrahams captures one of those precious times when the rest of the world seems to simply disappear.
Danny’s familiar couple walk closely together along a peaceful country path, surrounded by wildflowers and softly fading woodland. Ahead of them, the landscape is transformed by a spectacular sky, blazing with golden yellow and fiery orange before melting into rich reds, pinks, purples and blue.
Warm, romantic and wonderfully atmospheric, Quiet Moment is a beautiful example of the emotion and storytelling that have made Danny Abrahams’ work so instantly recognisable.
The Acorn Gallery, Pocklington is proud to be Danny Abrahams’ longest-serving gallery, and we have enjoyed representing his work and watching his remarkable journey as an artist over the years.
