What's going on in there, then? There's only one way to find out!

Curiosity might have killed the cat, but it's certainly keeping this little chap entertained!

Nosey Parker by Keith Proctor is a wonderfully charming painting that captures the irresistible curiosity of childhood, when every closed door holds a mystery and every little adventure begins with a question.

Standing on tiptoe outside a stable, a young boy peers over the wooden door, desperate to discover what's happening on the other side. With his little hands pressed against the timber and his eyes fixed on the dark interior, he's clearly determined not to miss a thing!

Dressed in a pale blue top, khaki shorts and sturdy little boots, our inquisitive young explorer looks completely absorbed in his investigation.

But what has caught his attention? Perhaps there's a pony waiting inside, a new arrival at the stables or something far more exciting that only a child's imagination could dream up!

That's part of the wonderful appeal of Keith's artwork. He gives us just enough of a story to spark our curiosity, leaving us to imagine the rest.

Keith's beautifully expressive brushwork brings warmth and character to the scene. The rich terracotta brickwork contrasts wonderfully with the weathered wooden stable doors, while the little flowerpots add a delightful touch of homely charm.

Presented as a hand embellished canvas board, Nosey Parker has an added richness of texture that beautifully complements Keith's distinctive nostalgic style.

Full of gentle humour, childhood innocence and a healthy dose of curiosity, this delightful artwork is sure to raise a smile. It's a particularly lovely choice for anyone who remembers spending their childhood around horses and stables, or simply being the sort of youngster who always wanted to know what was happening!

Nosey Parker by Keith Proctor is a heartwarming reminder that sometimes the greatest adventures begin with a little curiosity.
