"Haru" Spring Collection by Kealey Farmer
Like other seasonal words, the kanji for spring, 春 Haru, is a combination of Japanese characters. The first is the character "Sun" or "Day" 日 and the second is a combination of the kanji for plants 艸 and the phonetic 屯 meaning 'To Sprout'. In other words, Under the Sun of Spring, The Plants Begin to Sprout and Grow.
Beautifully presented on Canvas Board, hand embellished by Kealey before the careful application of beautiful 3D resin elements and beautiful Preciosa crystals, to make this piece truly sparkle.
