David has had some struggles in his life and his art has helped him through them in a way which he has found incredibly uplifting, and through sharing his art he has also found that the pieces are reaching other people who also need a lift and a way forward and the joy of helping others is something that David also finds incredibly rewarding!
When he is ready to create something new, David finds that he is best to just let go, and allow himself to be free to follow where the energy takes him... like freewriting, but free painting...
... the piece almost creates itself and he says that often the energy it gives off is what sustains him, filling him with what he needs in that moment...
When others also feel that energy he is empowered to do more and give more of himself in the hope that more are reached...
