Paul began his career when looking for artwork for his new flat. The plain white walls were crying out for colour and he couldn't find anything to suit! This turned out to be a pivotal moment for him! 

A experimenting with a few tubes of acrylic Paul found he was excellant at creating what he termed 'a subjectively attractive looking mess'. Painting at weekends Paul did several pieces and bravely put on his first solo show in 2008... he has never looked back!

He has painted full time since 2010 and is now to be found moving in celebrity circles and enjoying unprecedented access to events around the world where he can find inspiration for his work and produce even more incredible pieces! Paul's passion for fast cars and anything extreme has found him a lot of fans in Formula 1 and he has even been found lapping up the sun and the atmosphere in Monaco - having been asked to paint several commissions by the powers that be!

Paul says: "I'm perhaps not a textbook artist - my entire aim is for visual impact, to capture characters in a unique way that blows your socks off and to illicit a response something along the lines of 'woooohhhhaaa!'"

"I strive for the impression of explosive energy, movement, expression and the maximum in 3D effect – several techniques combining for the end result. Every one is around 2cm thick oil paint in places (yes, I get through a fair amount of the stuff) and pretty large scale, usually on board for a completely flat background so that the texture of the subject really comes out at you. I'm fascinated with how perceptions change with distance - the biggest unintentional compliment I’ve had was that my work looks like porridge close up."
