Sheila was born in 1959 in Brighton. She is a mum of two and grandma of two and has just finished being a mature student which she loved every second of.
Sheila says "I love using part reailty and part fantasy in my paintings .Firstly my work seemed to centre around the animal world but a trip to Venice last year gave me a new direction, I love the romance and old world feel. Inspiration comes from the very fabric that Venice is made of"
Sheila left school with Art O'level and went on to train as a Graphic artist taking over Leo Sayers desk at Grapic Arts in Burgess Hill, Sussex. In 2003 Sheila took a 2 year National Diploma course in Fine Art and gained a grade of triple distinction. Sheila has done themed artwork for a giftwear company and has taken part in several exhibitions across Yorkshire.
