The incredible career of this highly collected artist took off at a meteoric rate, going from being a young artist painting pictures for his family and friends in his spare time, through to being named the UK’s best selling published artist! This took just three years!

A national broadcast on BBC TV also described him as the UK’s most popular living artist - now that is some reputation to live up to but Doug Hyde seems to do that very well indeed!

In fact in 2014 he celebrated a decade of extraordinary success with his 10th anniversary as a published artist.

Doug Hyde is now a household name, collected by many around the world and with several celebrities amongst those, including former England Manager Roy Hodgson, golfer Rory McIlroy and British movie star Emily Blunt.

Doug has been featured in five wonderful books and his popularity and profile continues to increase around the world - he has even had a sell-out tour in Japan. 

Despite his huge success the realities of life have stayed close and Doug remains a true family man with the love of family, his unfailing optimism and overwhelming positivity being the main motivators in his work.

Doug finds inspiration in his own emotional responses to life and hopes, through his work, to provoke a positive response in others. His heart-warming, feel-good images have had a massive impact on the UK art scene and Doug is proud to have used his art for some great causes, having raised thousands of pounds for charity over the years, including ‘Look Good…Feel Better’, ‘Families for Children’ and ‘Children in Need’.
