Denise Finney

Denise is a much-respected, highly talented equestrian artist of international repute, who nevertheless shuns publicity and self-promotion letting her painting do the talking.

Currently living and working in her own studio in the heart of France she devotes herself to equestrian portraiture for clients and collectors around the globe.

Denise paints in a very precise and photo-realistic style which seems to capture the dynamic of her subject.  The level of detail she includes in her work is impressive and unsurpassed.  Each portrait can take up to 4 months from start to finish.  She is simply a perfectionist.

Denise is best known for portraits of legendary racehorses such as Frankel, Sea the Stars, Black Caviar, Big Bucks and Sprinter Sacre.  Most recently she has been painting a portrait of Justify, the 13th winner of the US Triple Crown and Eclipse 2018 racehorse of the Year.
