Stella Parslow is a self taught artist who has enjoyed a long and successful career. Her initial explorations saw her painting with enamel on Ivorine (imitation ivory) and on eggshells.
Her earliest exhibitions were the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition and also at the Medici Gallery in London.
Having had fun experimenting with various techniques in watercolour and gouache, Stella has created a unique collection of detailed work and her love of landscapes and natural skylines has heavily influenced her ideas giving her a uniquely recognisable style.
Stella was born in Kings Langley in Hertfordshire in 1950 but grew up in Leyton Buzzard where she later raised a family of her own. Her hobbies include travel, reading, swimming and her grandchildren.
